Return & Refund Policy
At Hanabana Hobbies, we take care in preparing and checking orders before dispatch. Due to the nature of hobby goods, collectibles and limited-release products, please review the following policy before purchasing.
Change of Mind
We generally do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change-of-mind purchases, including situations where a customer no longer wants an item, ordered the wrong item or changes their preference after purchase.
Please review the product description, photographs, specifications and compatibility information carefully before placing your order.
Pre-Orders
Pre-orders are subject to availability and allocation from manufacturers, distributors and suppliers. Full payment is required at the time of purchase to secure your pre-order.
Pre-order items are specially reserved or ordered based on confirmed customer orders. If a customer requests to cancel a pre-order due to change of mind or other customer-related reasons, the cancellation is subject to approval by Hanabana Hobbies.
Where a customer-requested cancellation is accepted, 20% of the pre-order item price will be retained as a cancellation fee and the remaining 80% will be refunded.
Cancellation requests may not be accepted once the item has been released, shipped by the supplier, or otherwise committed in a manner that can no longer reasonably be cancelled.
If Hanabana Hobbies is unable to fulfil a pre-order due to supplier cancellation, insufficient allocation, product discontinuation or similar circumstances, any payment collected for the affected item will be refunded in full.
Manufacturer release dates and estimated arrival dates are provided as estimates only and may be changed or delayed. A change or delay in the estimated release or arrival date does not by itself constitute cancellation of the pre-order.
Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.
Minor Manufacturing Variations
Many of our products, including dolls, figures, toys, model kits, accessories and other collectibles, are mass-produced or partly hand-finished.
As a result, minor variations may occur between individual products. These can include small paint differences, minor paint imperfections, slight colour variation, minor seam or mould lines, slight asymmetry, minor finishing differences, positioning differences and other small manufacturing variations.
Such minor variations that are considered normal for the type of product are not considered defects and are not eligible for return, exchange or refund on that basis alone.
Blind Boxes & Randomised Products
Blind boxes, trading products and other randomised items cannot be returned or exchanged because of the character, design or variant received.
Once opened, these products generally cannot be returned unless there is a qualifying issue with the item.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect item, an item with significant damage, or an item with a substantial defect beyond normal manufacturing variation, please contact Hanabana Hobbies within 7 days of receiving your order.
Please provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the item and packaging
- A description of the issue
- An unboxing video
Please retain the item and all original packaging while the matter is being reviewed.
We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, exchange, refund or other suitable resolution.
Packaging Condition
Product packaging is intended primarily to protect the item during transportation. Minor dents, scratches, creases or other cosmetic imperfections to outer packaging that do not materially affect the product inside may not qualify as product damage.
If packaging condition is particularly important to you as a collector, please contact us before purchasing.
Sale & Clearance Items
Sale, clearance and specially discounted items are generally final sale and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges.
This does not exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
Return Shipping
Please contact Hanabana Hobbies before returning any item. Items returned without prior arrangement may not be accepted.
Where a return is approved, instructions and the applicable return arrangements will be provided to you.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies that customers may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
